Exceded my expectations to be honest - particularly at how well I could play with it straight away - although I think if anything it shows how people's games have adapted since the FLP ban as I would not have played well with this 12 months ago without a lot of practice.

And also temper this in that my expectations may be low these days - so few LP rubbers now that I try and really like.

If it wasn't for Grass D.Tecs, I'd be using either Bomb Talent or Phantom 007.

The Bomb is closest to Insider
Phantom is supreme for chop blocking
D.tecs is the most disruptive

I like disruption

I still haven't had enough time with it really yet to say if it's the best pip rubber out there for me, but it is very good.

I'm with dingwol on this one, I no longer seem to have high expectations for rubbers and I know deep down that I'm not as good as I used to be with FLP.

With the FLP, I had a real game plan that worked very well. For example, when the ball was being chop-pushed around in a tight rally, a quick hard push into the back-spun ball would send back a lot of top-spin. I'd know that the next ball my opponent hit would fly up off their bat, so I knew I'd get my loop in. I won so many games by using tactics like this.

The BT is probably going to be better for me long term, but I don't think I'll get back those awkward shots I used to be able to play. I have however beaten some decent players already with the BT but I wonder how much of this is down to me improving as a player. As dingwol said, since the ban of FLP, we've all come on a long way so adapting to something like BT is a lot easier than it would have been a year ago.

I have to be honest and say that I've not noticed how hard this rubber is to play against. All I do is knock the ball over and it feels very much like Insider. However, many people have said to me that it is "odd to play against".
