I'd like to ask you guys (and girls) a question. I got some new sheets of my favorite rubber, G3-A2 (red, 2.0mm, hardness 39). However, after sticking n to my blade (Gambler Carbon Arylate) and peeling off the protective film, it left the rubber surface with speckles. I tried to rub/clean them, and the surface doesnt seem as tacky as the one it replaced. I also got a sheet of normal A2, 2.4mm and that seems fine. Is there anything wrong then with the g3?

On a side note. I have tried Inspirit, Venus, Globe 999 Nat and because of my style I suppose, I dont find the spinnier than the G3 for my forehand.

FYI - my current setup is

Gambler Carbon Arylate
F/H Dawei G3-A3, 2.0m H39
B/H Dawei Inspirit 1.8mm H40

Thanks for your time.

That's chinese quality control for you, same thing happened too me with the sprungfeders, after each batch it felt different from one another. Anyway you can try treating the topsheet, too try removing the spots and making it more tacky.

The specks sounds like the plastic sheet was not attached that well, which does tend to leave marks that don't remove easily, although it usually does not affect the grip that much.

The original A2 used to be my favourite rubber... the G3 A2 is not quite as good IMO.

You do realise that it's not ITTF approved, don't you?
