Yes, its' an interesting story.

There are two long threads on him over at about.com The first one he posts his own comments in, saying he spent 6m reinvented his game (after being thrashed by the Dr in the US Open) rather than giving up altogether due to long term arthritis issues.

This is just the style Razor is great for. It would be interesting to have a Monster user do a comparison- perhaps the Razor, being softer, is even better at confusing opponents? It's certainly awesome for attacking.

BTW there are other YouTube clips of Richard playing much better.

wow, it looks like he can barely move. It must be frustrating for a good player like him to have all those health problems. It's funny how small Zhang looks compared to McAffey though.

Yeah, poor guy. He said in the about.com thread that with this "new" style he can play several matches in a row, while the pain was too great for that before.

I came back on R&R leave last summer to play my first tourney and McAfee was the one running the club in Denver. That guy had/still has F'd up knees and moved slow like a turtle. Amazing he he even plays. He told me that the doctors looked at an X-Ray of his knees and asked McAfee why he was walking, instead of in a wheelchair. Yes, McAfee is not 50 kg anymore. At the time, he was playing inverted and still killed the over 2000 players.
